You’ve saved lives.
Here’s how.
Dear Donors,
When Rambam Hospital reached out for help to secure radiology equipment and neurosurgery beds, you answered with incredible generosity.
Together, thanks to your outstanding contribution of €125,000, matched by the France-Israel Foundation to reach a total of €250,000, we’ve helped Rambam achieve miracles.
Today, after visiting the hospital, I want to share with you what you made possible. Your support is more than a simple gesture; it has an immediate and life-changing impact on thousands of people.
Rambam Hospital: A Beacon of Resilience
Located in Haifa, Rambam is more than just a hospital. It is a cornerstone of care for over 2 million people in Northern Israel.
In recent years, faced with geopolitical challenges, Rambam developed a groundbreaking innovation: a fully functional underground hospital capable of accommodating up to 2,000 patients in just 72 hours.
During the last conflict, this underground space was transformed in record time to treat 800 patients in just 8 hours. What I saw during my visit was beyond imagination: cars now parked in the very same place where, just weeks ago, lives were being saved. Rambam stands as a remarkable symbol of resilience and ingenuity.
The Impact of Your Support
Your generosity has brought two critical projects to life:
-
A Mobile Radiology Unit
In times of conflict, standard radiology services located above ground become inaccessible. Thanks to your support, a mobile radiology unit is now operational underground, ensuring life-saving diagnostics even in the most challenging circumstances. -
Advanced Neurosurgery Beds
Your contributions have also funded 9 specialized beds for neurosurgery patients. These state-of-the-art beds provide optimal care for vulnerable post-operative patients, significantly improving their recovery and mobility.
A Safer Future, Thanks to You
Because of you, Rambam Hospital is better prepared than ever to face the unpredictable while continuing to deliver world-class care. Your generosity is a message of hope for an entire community.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Dr. Muriel Haim
